The man arrested for the death of a child in Ceuta confesses "half" to the crime

The agents of the UDEV (Central Unit for Specialized and Violent Crime) who have carried out Operation Loma —in reference to the Loma Colmenar neighborhood, where the boy lived and was found after his disappearance— analyzed hundreds of recordings from cameras in the area and surrounding areas until finding the main suspect.

This is a young man from Ceuta who lived with his parents in the neighboring neighborhood of Rosales, near the place where the little boy disappeared.

According to sources of the investigation, he has a criminal record, for a robbery that he allegedly perpetrated in one of the schools where he worked as a cleaner through a contract authorized by the Full Illusion Association (formerly, APROS), which serves people with disabilities. intellectual.

That incident cost him the expulsion of the entity in 2017 and the loss of his job.

Currently, he was employed as a butane cylinder delivery man, according to his environment.

Investigation sources say that the detainee, who is pending trial this afternoon, did not work at the school where the minor died.

On Wednesday afternoon, police officers accompanied the detainee to his home to carry out a search, and various materials were seized, which must now be analyzed.

Police sources, however, assure that "the matter is well tied up", after a meticulous investigation that started from a detailed analysis of the environment of little Mohamed, buried two days after his half-naked body was found on an embankment.

The autopsy revealed that the possible cause of death was a strong blow to the head.

For the moment, the motive for the crime has not been disclosed, beyond that supposed "discussion" recognized by the alleged murderer.
