The trial at the assizes of a landlord accused of having killed one of his tenants and another woman in Montauban in 2019 was adjourned sine die on Friday February 3, the man having undergone heart surgery after feeling unwell the day before during the hearing.
Sick Thursday morning
Eric Galo, 60, accused of killing his 38-year-old tenant and another 18-year-old woman on November 14, 2019, became unwell on Thursday morning as civil party lawyer Francis Szpiner asked him questions insistent.
He then underwent heart surgery.

The trial, which opened on Tuesday before the Assizes of Tarn-et-Garonne, did not finally resume on Friday, and was postponed to an unspecified date.

The bodies of the two women, one of whom was Eric Galo's tenant, had been discovered in a house in Montauban.

This woman had been discovered lying on the ground floor and had a gunshot wound to the neck, as well as numerous stab wounds.
The second victim was on the first floor, shot dead.
