the need to relax, especially in our home, is always relevant.

Taking a nap, reading a book, watching a series, disconnecting from the hustle and bustle is important for all of us.

Unlike the living room, which is of course the official reception area, the family room, which has become a kind of trend in recent years, is a pleasant, intimate and high-quality alternative that is mainly used by the nuclear family.



In recent years there has been more and more demand for non-standard sitting areas that are added to the formal living room, but do not take its place.

The designers turn the unused corners into family corners, whether it's in the basement, on the balcony, in the hallway, a designated corner for the family room, or a different division of the public space.



On the occasion of Family Day, which took place today, we went to take a look at some unique corners of different families across the country, which make you want family time:

The family corner designed by Tzvia Kazioff, in a penthouse in Jaffa, for a couple of men and their baby daughter, is located on the bottom floor, which is the bedroom floor.

The designer created various functions for the benefit of the nuclear family, which include a hidden kitchen near the baby's room for the purpose of feeding her at night, and the creation of a playful and colorful family room consisting of a pleasant TV corner with a large family couch, and a colorful and fun theme that creates a visual connection between the spaces on the floor.

A villa in the center designed and planned by Nitzan Horowitz will create a unique, powerful and different living environment.

The project is about the purity of natural materials, with monotonous colors.

The family corner is located on the way up to the living floor, where the parents' master bedroom, a service area and the suites of two of the children are located.

The family corner is revealed when you go upstairs and then a balcony: "I created a meeting point for the family that unites everyone. This is a living room for everything," Horowitz explains.

"We were able to create private and intimate landings for each and every one of the family members and the family corner is everyone's property."

The charming and colorful family corner was designed and designed by designer Ella Morgan.

This is a 3-story villa, for a family, a couple plus 2 boys.

The villa is located in Kfar Rama near Karmiel.

The family corner is located on the second floor, and it includes various treats, including a small kitchenette, a sofa bed, pampering textiles and more.

In the end, the family does not have to go down to the entrance floor to sit together.

The corner includes a bright blue sofa, with equipped TV, a carpentry unit with plenty of storage.

This is the family corner designed and planned by architect Lilian Ben Shoham, in a house in Ramat Hasharon, for a couple plus 2 teenage children.

Located on the ground floor, next to the kitchen.

The corner is also adjacent to a small and intimate work area.

The living room is located at the other end of the house.

The chosen style is rustic-elegant, with classic touches.
