The funniest thing there is: children tasting sweets gluten-free meal deliveries | Israel today

2023-03-02T14:46:58.050Z

Giving food delivery is a tradition of giving on Purim - but not all children can eat all the products, on the holiday and in general.

In preparation for the holiday of Purim, we gathered in the "Israel Hayom" studio together with four knowledgeable judges to taste loads of gluten-free sweets and snacks intended for meal deliveries.

Our tiny judges (just in age) expressed their (very) honest opinion in unexpected ways.

Which of the snacks will they share with their classmates and which will they prefer to hide deep in the bag to keep for themselves?

The products we tasted in the studio

"Blikmach"

is a boulangerie patisserie at 32 Barzel Street in Tel Aviv by pastry chefs Oren and Dan Davis Kafir, spouses and creative partners who have experimented for over a decade in baking a variety of products without flour following the celiac disease of their nephew Sagi.

In the studio we tasted their haman ears with Nutella from almond dough (NIS 36 per case).

"Amit Barkat Patisserie"

is a store and manufacturer of premium gluten-free confectionery products, located at Yad Harutus 14 in Jerusalem, led by pastry chef Amit Barkat.

The pâtisserie was founded out of inspiration and a desire to create a place of pilgrimage for people with celiac disease and in general so that they can feel Paris and feel most at home in the world.

We tasted manna ears filled with Nutella chocolate (price NIS 38 for a small case, NIS 110 for a large case).

The Biga chain

, which specializes in hand-made pastries, launched gluten-free manna ears on the occasion of Purim, which we tasted in the studio.

The traditional food of Biga is made of crispy dough and pistachio filling.

It comes in a box containing 8 ears of manna (price NIS 45).

Strauss

launched a special gluten-free package in November last year especially for the celiac community.

The box that came out includes gluten-free timeout, gluten-free fun fun and gluten-free folded.

We tasted two of the snacks in the studio (box price NIS 19.90 to NIS 28.90).

The Kinder company

launched especially in honor of Purim the

limited edition Kinder characters - milk chocolate bars in the shape of superheroes with a high milk content and filled with milky cream.

We asked ourselves in the studio if we would only want to eat this product for lunch.

(Price NIS 12.90 per case)

Asem

recently released

an airy bamba (at a price of NIS 1.90 to 7.90)

that does not contain gluten (similar to a classic bamba).

We tasted it together with

the company's gluten-free pretzel snack (price 4.90 to 17.20).
