The Eurasburger maypole measures 34 meters.
At the weekend he was transported on state road 2370 from Achmühle to the town hall.
Eurasburg - Five years ago, lightning destroyed the Eurasburg maypole, which the fire brigade then had to remove piece by piece.
On Saturday morning, the emergency services had far less stress: It was only necessary to secure the tree transport on state road 2370 from Achmühle to the Eurasburg town hall.

Led by the Eurasburg brass band, they waved to onlookers along the parking lot.
After a short ride, the tractor with the heavy load turned off the bike path onto the Wachhüttenplatz next to the primary school gym.
With the Bavarian sausage breakfast that followed, the around 40 helpers strengthened themselves for the upcoming work.

Of course, it is even more important that the 34 meter long gem is not stolen.
The approximately 100-year-old spruce was felled in a forest near Achmühle and has been guarded every day since this Saturday.
