” as the first request, supplemented by a 2nd article “

” of the first request.

The (RIP) is a particularly complex procedure.
Its deposit requires the signature of more than 185 deputies and senators.
Some 250 parliamentarians had filed the first request.

The shared initiative referendum has never succeeded since its introduction into the Constitution in 2008, on the initiative of Nicolas Sarkozy.
