The Argentinian, who celebrated his 100th birthday on July 11, made his debut after reading in the Argentinian daily "El Grafico" in 2003 that at only 23 years old, the Pulga had already scored 200 goals.
Since then, he meticulously notes each achievement of the Pulga, both for the national team and for FC Barcelona. Without a smartphone or a computer, Nelo sometimes has to call his grandson when he can't watch the games himself to ask how many goals his favorite player has scored. In total, that's already more than 730 goals scored by hand. The video having toured social networks across the Atlantic, it ends up being seen by Lionel Messi in person. And the captain of the Albiceleste, recently champion of the Copa America, wanted to thank him.
Lionel Messi therefore sent his grandson a short video in which he salutes the long-term work of his grandfather. This one discovers the message of number 10 with his grandson who filmed the scene and unveiled it on his Instagram account. We see Messi saying to him: “
