Boston fans themselves didn't dare believe it before the game. The Celtics did it well. On the night of Saturday to Sunday on the floor of Miami, Joe Mazzilla's players tied at three everywhere in the Eastern Conference finals. They were badly embarked in the last moments, but Derrick White boasted a tap at the buzzer to offer a seventh confrontation on their floor to his own.

Now favourites to advance to the Finals, the Celtics could become the first franchise to qualify in seven games after leading 3-0. In 150 attempts, no one has yet achieved this feat in the NBA.
"It's a real boost to confidence. There is nothing worse than being led 0-3. We feel like we've come back from hell," said Jaylen Brown. But all that means nothing if we don't give our best on our home turf on Monday night. If they qualify for the finals, where they would join the Denver Nuggets, the Boston Celtics would validate a second consecutive appearance at the top of the championship, and give themselves the right to dream of an 18th title.
