Protect most of all: Google will update users whose password has been leaked on the network

At the expense of Netflix, Email, Spotify and Telegram: Google has updated the Chrome browser and launched a new feature that will update users in real time as their password has leaked to the network. Also introduced significant security enhancements in the new version that will reach all users over the next few weeks

Using a Google browser? In recent days, the search giant, which is also responsible for the world's most popular browser, has launched the release of Chrome 79, which includes significant security enhancements. The browser will now update when the password appears on the network. For example, if you log in to the Netflix account and Google detects that the password has leaked to the network, it will update you in real time and help you save the account from hacking. So far, Google has enabled extensions that perform similar actions, but now you will not need to install additional software and will already include the new feature within the new version that will reach all users gradually and automatically.

The new function can be enabled using Chrome and Google sync settings. To use it, users will need to keep their passwords within the browser. The search giant has made it clear that it encrypts the password through multiple layers of encryption, so the password is fairly protected. Aside from password warnings, Google improves phishing site protection with real-time updates. For example, if you enter a suspicious site, Google will be alerted in real time. So far, Google has relied on a repository that updates every thirty minutes, but sophisticated hackers have been able to manipulate and, by exchanging addresses, have managed to evade Google's identification.

Google also improves the support for multiple profiles in Chrome, so if you share a computer, Google will better identify the user behavior and sites it enters, thus keeping the passwords in the correct profile. Version 79 is out today, and will be available to all users over the next few weeks, on Windows and Apple computers.
