A corporation here decided to drop the old program "See the World", the foreign journal broadcast every Saturday night, from the days of the Broadcasting Authority. The program went on air in August 1988, at the beginning David Witsum submitted it and produced Oren Nahari, who also wrote articles alongside Emanuel Halperin and Michael Doron. Later, Halperin submitted it to her, then for a brief period Nahari and Doron, and since 1997 the journalist and Israel Prize-winning journalist and editor, Jacob Ahimair, edits and submits it.
It is currently unclear whether Ahimair will remain in the corporation. "There is no intention of hiring me with the cancellation of the plan," Ahmair claims in a conversation with Walla! culture. As for the question of where he was going, he said: "I will certainly keep myself busy. At 81, I will not start a new career, of course." But corporations say the issue is still in discussions with Ahimair and that they are looking for something else right now. According to the sources, the feeling in the corporation was that there was no need to "see a world" against the background of a daily foreign news program.
