The festival, which is being held for the third year at the Tel Aviv Cultural Hall, will feature special performances that will spread over three days. The opening show to be held tonight (30.1) is the Bowie Celebration tour - a tribute show to the legendary David Bowie, on Friday at noon Amir Benayon will host Barry Sakharof and Arkadi Duchin, on Friday evening Danny Gidi and friends will perform on Saturday night - Dikla will stage her new performance. There will also be performances at the Zucker Hall: Asaf Amdorsky and the Karni Postel Quintet, Shuli Rand, Victoria Hanna (host Reef Cohen), tractor revenge, and Eran Tzur (who will host Aviv Gadge).

One of Israel's favorite and most successful bands will celebrate a decade to release their sixth great album - "6" - in a show where they will host Esther Rada, Giraffes and Peled. The show will take place as part of the Zappa Goldstar Sound System Festival. The album was produced by their longtime partner Yossi Payne and he produced several hits, such as "Song of Solace", "Salomon's Living Room", "One More Brother" and more.

Yehuda Poliker sings gasoline
One of Israel's greatest artists returns to the roots of rock 'n' roll in a special performance in which he performs the legendary band songs he led in the 1980s - gasoline. The tremendous band released just two albums, but a sea of huge hits that became memorable classics, including "Free It's Alone Alone", "Friday", "Rain", "Give Me a Reason", "Face to Face", "Home Shared ”and more and more. With Poliker on stage - the excellent "Vegan Friendly" band. The show will take place as part of the Zappa Goldstar Sound System Festival. Not to be missed.

Fifty years after Judy Garland's tragic death - her dramatic life story unfolds in an invisible pearl movie: live photos, excerpts, and recordings Garland herself recorded. John Do and Jennifer Jason Lee recreate the troubled story of Garland and Sid Luft, her third husband (out of five) - and weave in her the most important stations in her life: her shaky relationship with her mother, her first steps in Hollywood and Broadway, her friendship with President Kennedy, her alcohol addiction and her wonderful comeback.

CALL FOR RAIN
Due to the huge wildfires in Australia that resulted in the death of about 1 billion animals - including some already endangered species - there will be a fundraiser for wildlife restoration on the continent. All over the world there are shows and fundraising events for the restoration and rescue of the remaining animals. The event, CALL FOR RAIN, was first held earlier this month in Berlin and now, initiated by Talia Lifshitz and Lisa Silver, Jewish-Australian immigrants to Israel, the event also arrives in Tel Aviv. Approximately 13 artists and musicians will perform and play from 2 pm to noon, among others: Mengeh (Berlin), Ido Murali, Ty Rune, Toti, Jimmy Dean, Tomer Lebanon, Gaia Gore and more.

Rite of Spring
After the success and following the great demand, Chinese choreographer and creator Jan Lipping returns with "Ritual of Spring." In this debut in Shanghai in 2018, Lipping offers her own version of one of the best-known and beloved dance works of the 20th century, to the music of Igor Stravinsky.

"First Language", 13th Hebrew Language Conference
The 13th Conference of the "First Language", the only language event of its kind in Israel, is underway this time with the sign "Hebrew in constant motion". The conference will feature singers, writers, poets, intellectuals, academics and actors, among others various source productions, such as "Dense Speech" - a musical, humorous and nostalgic source production, with the best hits of the military bands, and the connection between language and slang.
