To present the new Juke, Nissan aims directly at space and technology. For the event dedicated to the new Nissan Juke, the Japanese automaker wanted to underline the importance of the technical equipment of the new vehicle, also calling to the story Umberto Guidoni, the first Italian astronaut to have set foot in the international space station.

From the stars to the streets, the link is that of continuous research and also that of the growing autonomy acquired by mechanical means. To use Guidoni's words, progress also stems from "a change of perspective", which in his case was that of seeing the earth from space and in the case of Juke instead comes from the adoption of an increasingly specific technology. In particular, in Nissan, we call this vision of mobility Nissan Intelligent Mobility and among the cars with a thermal engine, the new Nissan Juke tries to stand as a spokesman. Equipped with advanced driver assistance systems, Juke, the Japanese company let them know, is also the most connected Nissan model ever thanks to the new Infotainment system.

For the first time, the Nissan crossover is equipped with ProPilot technology, which assists the driver in accelerating, steering and braking. It also offers a complete package of safety technologies, including intelligent emergency braking system with recognition of pedestrians and cyclists, detection of road signs, intelligent lane-keeping system, intelligent rear obstacle detection system in motion and intelligent system warning and blind spot intervention. The latter equipment, which signals the presence of obstacles in blind spots and, if necessary, brings the car back on track, is a novelty in the field of compact crossovers.

Another technology on board is that of the new NissanConnect infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and with which it is possible to replicate the applications of your smartphone and access TomTom Maps & Live Traffic. The NissanConnect Services application allows, via the smartphone, a series of remote actions such as opening and closing the doors, operating the horn and lights and locating the car. Another possibility is to know if the car is used beyond a certain perimeter, a pre-set time or speed. Compatibility with Google Assistant allows you to control certain functions via voice commands, including switching on the headlights, sending the destination to the on-board navigator, identifying the position of your car, knowing how many kilometers have been covered and if the car is closed correctly. The WiFi, then, will be integrated with a service that will be available during 2020 to connect laptops or tablets while on board.
