One of the funny and exciting moments at the Oscars was recorded when Gal Gadot took the stage with Berry Larson and Sigourney Weaver, and together mocked Hollywood discrimination. Courtesy © AMPAS® / yes and STINGTVTwo years after a relatively negligible award was presented at the Oscars, this year our delegate presented to the Oscars a much more significant award - the original song and the original music. Gadot, who is Wonder Woman, took to the stage with Berry Larson (who is Captain Marvel) and Sigourney Weaver (who is Ripley from "The Eight Traveler") - two of the most iconic characters in American cinema - and the three split the awards in the musical categories.
"We talked backstage that we decided to form a fight club after the ceremony," Weaver joked. "Men are welcome, but shirtless," Gadot added to the audience's laughter. Larson commented: "Sorry, that's how it is in Hollywood. The winner will win the lifetime supply of deodorant, sushi and tequila." Gal Gadot added: "Whoever loses in battle will receive a penalty - answer questions from journalists what it's like to be a woman in Hollywood." At this point the audience clapped loudly and laughed enthusiastically. "
Gal Gadot herself even announced the Oscar in the original song category where Elton John won the song "I'm Gonna Love Me Again" from the "Rocketman" movie that tells his life story. In the original music category, Hildur Guantador, the brilliant Icelandic composer of "Joker", won. She has become one of the only women to ever win this category, and the first to do so in more than 20 years.
