The Creil military base was hit. Four people infected with the coronavirus were diagnosed there. The first of them, a 55-year-old civilian employed as a driver, was hospitalized. Three other contaminations were then reported. Other suspicious cases are mentioned but the institution, concerned with discretion, preferred Friday not to confirm.
Air base 110 "Lieutenant-Colonel de La Horie" houses part of the activities of the Directorate of Military Intelligence. Transparency is not the rule there. The concentration of cases there, however, raises questions about the spread of the epidemic. "An epidemiological investigation is underway," was content to explain Thursday Colonel Barbry, spokesman for the staff. Health officials are looking for the zero patient trail.
