New Nissan Juke: lighter than its predecessor
The 1,182 kilogram Juke (23 kilograms lighter than its predecessor *) is powered by a new one- liter three-cylinder petrol engine with 117 hp . During a first test drive in the city and on surrounding country roads, it showed itself to be a quiet and sovereign aggregate that can be spurred on. More space inside the Juke: wheelbase grows by 106 millimeters
The design is a little less noticeable compared to the predecessor, which is also due to the body that is 75 millimeters longer and the wheelbase that has grown by 106 millimeters . The occupants, who now also sit very comfortably at the rear, get 58 millimeters of it - only from about shoe size 45 it gets a bit narrow in the footwell. The trunk now holds 422 liters , which is about 20 percent more , says the manufacturer.
Technically up to date: Nissan Juke with wifi on board
In terms of technology and connectivity , the Japanese have brought the Juke II up to date . "The Juke is the most networked Nissan," said the presentation. On board, for example, is a ProPilot system for semi-autonomous driving , which automatically keeps the Juke on track and keeps a constant distance from the vehicle in front. A wireless in-car WiFi should be available in the first quarter of 2020. And with the Smart Alert, it is possible to monitor the car - if, for example, the offspring is on the move, Papa can see where and how fast it is being driven.
