Batman gets a new company car - and first pictures of it are circulating on the web. Director Matt Reeves' photo post of the Batmobile triggered violent reactions.

Retro look: The new Batmobile is reminiscent of a muscle car
The new Batmobile was designed this time in a kind of muscle car look . With a bit of imagination, the front area borrowed from the Dodge Charger, which was built around 1970. The rear wheel arches are powerfully shaped and also form the rear: they are reminiscent of bat wings - typically Batman.
Superhero power: Is there a V8 engine in the rear?
The three-part taillights of the Batmobile show parallels to those of the Ford Mustang - whereby in the superhero vehicle they are not arranged next to each other but above one another. The exposed engine in the rear signals brute power : judging from the pictures , it is a V8 - typical muscle car.

The online fan base is divided on the new Batmobile. Many are enthusiastic about the new superhero vehicle : "Best Batmobile since the '66" - "The best Batmobile since 1966" , wrote one user. Another fan has a similar opinion: "looks like the old school bat mobile" - "Looks like the old school batmobile." Another commentator likes that it is more a car than a fantasy vehicle.

But there are other voices : "That doesn't look batman enough" - "That doesn't look enough Batman, " writes one user. "Absolute garbage" - " Total garbage ", says another. The positive votes clearly outweigh on Twitter.
