After its debut as a prototype last year, the Panther Progettouno is ready for production.
The Ares Design supercar has in fact made its transition from the pre-production prototype to the production model, which, according to the plans, should be limited to just twenty-one copies. To celebrate the moment, Ares Design has also made the first dynamic video of Panther Progettouno. The film, shot on the country roads around Modena, is titled Shaping Carbon ', a reference to the material from which the body of the supercar is made. The style of the supercar and its name are evident references to the iconic De Tomaso Pantera from the 70s and 80s. The aggressive bodywork is entirely made of carbon fiber and has been perfected through CFD technology to obtain the best aerodynamic performance. The retro theme continues inside with a classic style, which however also leaves room for a digital instrument panel, bespoke leather and alcantara upholstery, carbon fiber finishes and aluminum switches. Panther also has a Daniel Hertz high definition sound system. While the body is shaped to resemble the classic supercar (it also features pop-up LED headlights), the hardware is as modern as possible. The Panther Progettouno is based on the Lamborghini Huracan, with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10. Connected to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and Haldex AWD electronically controlled, the V10 pushes the Panther from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.1 seconds and at a maximum speed of 325 km / h. The production of the Panther Progettouno supercar, which is the first model of Ares Design's Legends Reborn program, has already started. Each of the 21 examples has a price starting from € 615,000.
