"Death to the French", "Death to the Jews", "Sold" ... A municipal policeman discovered, early Sunday morning, these inscriptions tagged with black felt accompanied by swastikas on twenty or so graves in the cemetery of Gruissan in the 'Dawn.
According to the first elements, the graves seem to have been chosen at random and they were not broken. According to France 3, the investigation for "acts of vandalism on an anti-Semitic and racist theme" was entrusted by the public prosecutor of Narbonne to the research brigade of the gendarmerie of Narbonne which was to receive complaints from the mayor of the town and families this Monday.
The cemetery was closed so that the identification cell of the gendarmerie could take the fingerprints and all traces left by the vandal (s).
