The war continues: In recent days, Apple has begun promoting PUBG, Fortnite's biggest rival, in its app store. The conflict has come to an end, for now, when two days ago the technology giant announced that it was suspending the developer account of Epic Games, the game developer, due to an ongoing conflict. This means that the company will not be able to update the application to existing users or upload new games to the store.

As you may recall, the battle between Apple and Epic Games began when it announced that gamers who play Fortnite on a smartphone will enjoy a 20% discount on all in-game purchases - as long as they pay directly to it and not Apple and Google. The company's Apple-Google move was made in order to avoid paying a 30 percent commission - and transfer 100% of the purchases to it.

"We are disappointed that we had to close the Epic Games developer account in the App Store," Apple wrote in an official statement. "We worked with the team at Epic Games for many years on all launches. The court advised Epic to abide by the App Store rules as they have done for the past decade. But they refused. Instead, they continued to distribute Fortnite updates designed to violate the. App Store Guidelines ".

Apple added that "this is unfair to all other developers in the App Store and puts their customers at the center of their struggle. We hope we can work together in the future, but unfortunately this is not possible right now."

Meanwhile, as we published in "Israel Today", Israeli users are taking advantage of the crisis and offering for sale a network of smartphones on which the game is installed for thousands of shekels. The most expensive offer we found in a short search for the words "iPhone with Fortnight" in the Facebook online store (Marketplace) was NIS 10,000 for the iPhone Pro Max.
