A fire broke out this Tuesday morning in the souks of the Lebanese capital, located in the city center.

Thick smoke rises from the building designed by Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, who died in 2016, which is still partially under construction in the commercial and beating heart of the city, according to images posted on Twitter.

A new day.

A new fire.

According to the Civil Defense, the fire has been brought under control and no injuries are to be deplored.

Last Thursday, a month after the terrible explosion that ravaged the port of Beirut and part of the city, a gigantic fire ravaged a shed where tires and oils were stored, causing panic.
