The boat was ready to leave this Tuesday morning, around 7.45 am, when the police arrived on site.
On Sangatte beach, they came across a zodiac carrying around fifteen people on board, migrants wishing to cross the Channel to reach Great Britain.
Two men, who were launching the boat, were arrested and taken into custody, reports France Bleu Pas-de-Calais.
Less than two hours later, Boulogne-sur-Mer police made two more arrests.
They are two smugglers, specify the police on Twitter.
They too were busy at the edge of the water, in Wimereux, around 9:30 am.
The two individuals, two Egyptians aged 37 and 45, were arrested not far from another boat, at a place called “Pointe aux oies”.

On them, the police say they have found a large sum of money, evoking "several thousand euros" but without delivering a specific amount.
France Bleu specifies that these men were transferred during the day to Coquelles, where the border police have since taken over the file.
