He wanted to help, and found himself paying tens of thousands of shekels for insurance
Offering help in rescue in the field is a proper and good deed, but in too many cases it is the rescuer who offers help who finds himself in a lot of trouble.
The solution: a letter of release from liability

Providing help out of a desire can have very unpleasant consequences (Photo: Rami Gilboa)
Our story begins with an urban legend, or an event that really happened, ever.
According to legend, an innocent and sincere jeep drove his way through the terrain.
Suddenly he heard the cries of a distressed princess, who was riding on a path with her private carriage (some say a carriage made of pumpkin) but dug in the sand, and could no longer drive on her own.
The princess cried out for help, and the heroic Gifaino came to her aid.
Etz ran, got out of his formidable SUV, pulled out rescue straps and shackles to attach, and harnessed the princess' car to the part he thought was the most powerful in the pumpkin.
Our innocent protagonist got up to drive his gleaming SUV, gave a slight pull, and the pumpkin came out.
Although a little battered, a little wrinkle in the tin, the bumper a little loose but our princess thanked him from the bottom of her heart, and drove off.
Days have passed, weeks have passed and suddenly the postman (this is the man who distributes the mail) brings a registered letter to our hero.
The letter details a list of damages caused to the princess' pumpkin.
Turns out the front bridge of the pumpkin was damaged, the bumper broke at the bottom, and the anchor our hero used to harness the princess' car also became quite crooked.
The princess innocently turned to the insurance company and asked them to repair the damage caused to the pumpkin, while she told in full detail the heroic rescue.
Her insurance company, which was not born yesterday, has started asking if a rescuer is allowed to rescue?
Is he allowed to tow another vehicle?
And having learned that the answer is no, the insurance company is suing our protagonist for the damages caused to the pumpkin.
Of course the entire event was filmed, and the SUV license number appeared in almost every photo.
Even when the princess cried and asked not to harm her rescuer, the insurance company did not comply with her pleas, suing him for his negligence.

That your offer of help will not be directed against you
Whether or not it was, we will not know, but in preparation for a similar event, I have in my vehicle a legal document drafted years ago by my friend Adv. Shlomo Marbaum. incurs, including the claim of an insurance company extracted.
I do not touch the car stuck before the form is signed, photographed and save me. do not want to sign? it was nice to know - and severing contact. You'd be amazed how many people are begging for help, and when you pull out this form to protect you, they Straight 'No, bro, no situation, no seal, trust me, will be fine.' So I do not trust, nor anyone's brother except my biological brother and sister.
Want help - sign.
