An American astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts from the International Space Station returned to Earth Thursday (October 22) in Kazakhstan, after a 196-day mission in space, the Russian Space Agency Roskosmos said.

American Chris Cassidy (Nasa) and Russians Anatoly Ivanichine and Ivan Vagner (Roskosmos) landed about 150 kilometers southeast of the Kazakh city of Zhezkazgan at 4:54 a.m. PST, according to images released. by Roscosmos.
