The second wave of Covid-19 continues to strike in France.
According to the Ministry of Health, 52,518 new cases have been detected since yesterday.
The test positivity rate now stands at 20.6%, compared to 20.4% yesterday.
Health authorities have also indicated that 418 people have died in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 37,435 since the start of the epidemic in the country.

According to the ministry, 2,547 new people have been hospitalized since yesterday.
In total, 25,143 patients are currently in hospital in France for Covid-19 contamination.
Among them, 3,730 are treated in the intensive care units, or 152 more people than yesterday.
The number of patients in intensive care exceeds 3,700 for the first time since May 3.
On the other hand, Santé Publique France indicates that 2,448 clusters are still being investigated in the country, including 649 in nursing homes.
