The Covid-19 epidemic continues to rage in France, confined for the second time since Friday.
According to the Ministry of Health, 36,330 new cases were detected on Tuesday, November 3.
The day before, Public Health France had counted more than 52,000 positive cases and the epidemiologist Antoine Flahaut had feared on Twitter that “we exceed 100,000 cases / day at the end of the week”.

426 new deaths in hospital are also to be deplored, against 418 the day before.
428 deaths have also been recorded in nursing homes or medico-social establishments (EMS) over the past four days.
This brings the total number of deaths linked to Covid-19 in France to 38,289.
1,122 new patients were hospitalized in 24 hours on Tuesday, bringing the number of Covid-19 patients treated in hospitals to 26,242, against 25,120 on Monday.
The number of people in intensive care stands at 3,869, with 469 new admissions in 24 hours.
