A 17-year-old teenager was indicted in Montbéliard (Doubs) for "provoking an act of terrorism" after posting a message on a social network announcing an attack at the Lyon Part-Dieu station.
He was placed under judicial supervision.
The teenager, hitherto unknown to justice, was arrested on Wednesday and indicted on Friday, according to the prosecution, confirming information from France Bleu Belfort-Montbéliard.
On January 4, the young man sent a message on Snapchat in which he threatened to "open fire on the crowd with a weapon of war" in the Lyon station.
A large police force was then deployed around Part-Dieu, before the threat turned out to be false.
According to France Bleu, the young person denied during his police custody having wanted to commit an attack.
No ideology in his speech, it seems.
"We have a profile that is not at all compatible with this kind of talk" and further investigations will therefore take place to determine the reasons that may have led him to put this message online, we added. judicial source.
As for the computer equipment, seized at his home, it must be the subject of a thorough examination.
