Conan O'Brien, the oldest Light Night presenter in the United States, will complete in June 2021 his current show, "Conan" on the TBS cable network, after a decade on the screen.
Prior to that, the comedian briefly directed the "Tonight Show" on NBC, and even before that the later show, "Light Night with Conan O'Brien," beginning in 1993.
O'Brien will remain in the same family: TBS belongs to the Warner concern, asked its streaming service, HBO Max, the comedian is moving in favor of a new weekly Variety show.
"In 1993, Johnny Carson gave me the best advice of my career: 'As soon as possible, switch to a streaming platform,'" O'Brien said of the move.
"I'm excited to continue doing what I do on HBO Max, and I'm eagerly looking forward to a free subscription."
Throughout his 27 years on the night shows, Conan O'Brien has brought to the forefront of the screen several iconic corners and characters, including the insulting dog Triumph and the masturbating bear.
In his program on TBS, he placed more and more emphasis on out-of-studio photography, such as visits to various places throughout the United States, as well as trips to countries around the world as part of the "Conan Without Borders" specials (available on Netflix) - including his visit to Israel.
