Eni, innovation at the service of ecological transition

2020-11-19T02:20:08.374Z

“The energy transition is at the heart of the Eni Group's strategy, and we are aiming for carbon neutrality in 2050. We are supporting this objective in France through concrete and innovative actions in favor of the planet and our customers”, Daniel Fava DG Eni Gas & Power France.

A world-class energy supplier, Eni has more than 9 million customers in Europe, including 1.5 million in France.

A pioneer in environmental issues, the company is supporting the

ecological transition

to the tune of more than 50 million euros over the 2018-2020 period - in particular thanks to the system of energy saving certificates (EEC) - or through the creation of green offers.

Overview of its areas of intervention ...

Eni is committed to the energy transition alongside its customers

In order to meet the needs of its customers while being committed to the environment, Eni is constantly innovating with differentiating products such as a fixed price offer that can only be revised downwards.

The Astucio offer for individuals is an original concept allowing the price per kWh HT of gas or electricity to be blocked for three years.

If regulated sales prices increase, nothing changes.

And if these prices go down, your price goes down too *.!

For customers, this means greater visibility as well as better protection against increases in regulated tariffs during periods of fluctuating energy costs.

Another innovative concept aimed at the concrete and responsible reduction of CO2 emissions: Eni's proposal for voluntary and sustainable action in favor of reforestation.

Via

the classic offer or a 100% green offer, all customers can choose to plant trees near their home or abroad, and thus create the carbon sinks of tomorrow.

Eni is committed to green mobility ...

Eni is at the forefront of many environmental and societal issues, such as clean travel.

By contributing to the free availability of electrically-assisted bicycles adapted to the needs of professionals thanks to V-logistics, Eni preserves the environment by supporting companies in

soft

and electric

mobility

.

Eni also supports My Cycloenterprise, promoting the integration of cyclomobility by micro-entrepreneurs

And in addition to cycling, Eni is proud to contribute to the development of charging stations for electric cars by actively participating in their establishment in France, particularly in local communities and large urban areas.

The rise of electric vehicles shows the desire to develop responsible mobility and Eni is keen to act in this context.

… And on raising awareness of energy savings

Always ready to pass on its know-how, Eni trains and informs citizens and businesses on the environmental impact of energy consumption.

The idea is to allow everyone to adopt more appropriate behaviors at their own level to spend less energy.

Thus, the Generation Energy program led by Eni will train 10,000 middle and high school classes in energy savings by June 2022. To date, 47,525 students have already been made aware of becoming ambassadors for the transition!

As for the EcoPro program intended for VSEs / SMEs in the hotel and catering industry, commerce, tertiary sector and production, it will allow 12,000 of them to reduce their impact and their energy bills in two years.

As in the two previous years, in 2020, Eni was elected “Best energy supplier” by the Inma Stratmarketing institute.

Eni has also been recognized as the No. 1 gas + electricity energy supplier by the Pro-Conso institute.

Energy is our future, save it !
