A restaurateur was sentenced to six months in prison for having threatened the prefect of the Territoire de Belfort with death during a demonstration on November 14, according to the public prosecutor Eric Plantier, confirming information from France Bleu.
The conviction of the accused by the Belfort Criminal Court was imposed as part of the appearance procedure on prior recognition of guilt (CRPC), the magistrate told AFP, confirming information from France Bleu Belfort-Montbéliard.
“We know very well that the Prefect wants our own head and no one else […].
He can come, he knows where we live, no problem: we will wait for him, we have nothing more to lose, ”she said, said the magistrate.
He specified that the remarks had "been filmed on a social network".

"The only thing that could make me twist is that my children are taken away from me, but then I swear to you, in front of everyone, that it is me who kills him, and no one else", had -she adds.
The restaurateur was arrested and taken into custody earlier this week before being brought before the prosecutor, where she admitted the threats.
"Considering the gravity of these facts with regard to the attack which they carry to the republican symbolism, I proposed to him a sentence up to six months of imprisonment with a simple suspension", explained Eric Plantier, a sentence which was then "accepted by the interested party then approved by the president of the court".

According to France Bleu, the demonstration during which the remarks were made, had gathered about 70 people including several figures of the Yellow Vest movement in Franche-Comté.
It was organized by the collective of companies and employees in difficulty, of which the shopkeeper is part.
