This car was in fact created for an initiative of McLaren Beverly Hills and consequently the Saber was designed and approved exclusively for the US market.

A few hours ago, the first of 15 buyers (all cars were pre-sold) received the keys to the number one specimen, tuned and customized - including cream-orange paint - according to his requests.



Powered by McLaren's most powerful non-hybrid twin-turbo V8 engine to date, with 824hp and 590Nm of torque, the Saber is also the fastest two-seater McLaren ever, as it exceeds 350km / h.

The special feature of this model by MSO is the co-creation carried out by the designers and engineers of McLaren Special Operations together with customers.

In early autumn, customers were involved in a series of private test drives with a prototype of their new car at the Thermal Club Private Race Track in partnership with O'Gara Motorsport and McLaren Beverly Hills.



"I have been happily involved in other tests with special cars in the past - commented Parris Mullins, director of O'Gara Motorsport - but I have never seen a manufacturer offer customers the level of attention that McLaren Special Operations has provided for the new Saber. ".

The 'personalized' customer experience has in fact involved a close working relationship with the MSO development team of designers, engineers and testers to ensure that your final specimen matches exactly the desired and customized concept.



After the 'secret' tests on the track, assisted by technicians O'Gara and McLaren, buyers of the Saber hypercar provided direct feedback on the car and any changes via video chat to the design and engineering team in Woking.

That is why in delivering the first McLaren Saber to its new owner, it was reiterated that "this time, it was not just a customer, but an enthusiast who was also a collaborator, designer and factory test driver. your dream into reality ".
