The Ferrari Driver Academy is becoming more and more 'pink'.

The FIA Girls on Track - Rising Stars program reaches the expected final challenge after the suspension suffered last November and the FDA is again ready to give its contribution to the initiative wanted by the Fia Women in Motorsport Commission which aims to promote the women's motoring and supporting the most talented girls between the ages of 12 and 16 on their path to a career as a professional racing driver.

The four finalists therefore returned to Maranello, selected by the FIA experts at the end of a four-phase process that took place mainly at the Circuit Paul Ricard, in France.

The positivity to Covid-19 of one of the girls had forced to suspend the program but now the Brazilian Julia Ayoub (15 years) and Antonella Bassani (14), the French Doriane Pin (16) and Maya Weug (16), Dutch born in Spain from a Belgian mother and a Dutch father, they are ready to give their all to win a place in the Ferrari Driver Academy.

In Maranello, the girls will be the protagonists of some evaluation days, in which they will be able to understand what it means to be students of the Academy.

The program includes physical tests, aptitude tests, some simulator driving sessions, communication activities and also a series of lessons dedicated to sporting regulations and the conduct to be kept on the track.

The most awaited and important part of the selection will take place on Thursday and Friday, with the girls engaged on the Fiorano circuit at the wheel of a Formula 4 car equipped with Pirelli tires identical to those used in the Italian championship.

The camp in Ferrari will end on Friday afternoon: at that point the girls will be discharged and, in the following days, a commission of technicians will meet to analyze in detail all the data collected, both on the track and in the various off-track activities.

The final choice will then be made and who will be the most deserving of becoming the first student in the history of the Ferrari Driver Academy.
