Smart Park is building the largest robotic parking lot in Israel for the Tel Aviv Municipality
The Tel Aviv Municipality and the Coastal Estate went out to tender for the construction of the first, largest and most advanced robotic car park of its kind in Israel.
The parking lot that will be operated at 14 Bograshov Street in Tel Aviv is supposed to combine the most advanced robotic technology and offer an available automatic parking lot with a very large number of parking spaces.
So far, in the parking lot that operated on the site, only about 60 parking spaces have been offered in a plot the size of an acre and the robotic parking lot has over 220 available parking spaces.
The cost of the project is estimated at NIS 20 million.
The SMART PARK robotic car park will use seven robots that will move the vehicles inside the car park building simultaneously.
The parking lot (underground) will contain four entrance halls with a spacious and pleasant waiting room as well as 4 elevators that will "pull out" the users' vehicles independently, in an average time of only about 150 seconds.
The vehicles will be stored in the parking spaces without human hand contact and under full robotic control.
The system is controlled by an INC system developed by the Smart Park company and is aided by a variety of sensors and trackers that chart the "journey" of the vehicle on its way to the designated cabin and back from it, with special attention to the issue of safety and efficiency of the system.
The parking lot will be equipped with an advanced interface for communication with customers, using smart screens and the ability to pay with credit cards.
The company expects to start operations in about a year from today, when the field work has already begun.
