Using Apple's new wireless charger?
You may be in danger.
A medical study conducted by the Heart Rate Association claimed that MagSafe, Apple's new wireless charger, could interfere with medical devices with defibrillators and pacemakers.
Now a few weeks after the study was published, Apple has updated the support page with related information.
Last year, Apple announced the MagSafe technology for the iPhone, with each of the new iPhones coming with magnets around the wireless charging coils, allowing the charger to "stick" to the back of the device.
Now, it seems that the new technology may endanger many populations.
The 9to5Mac website, which specializes in Apple products, reported that Apple has never denied claims that the iPhone 12 line may interfere with medical devices such as pacemakers, but in the support document the company states: "Although all iPhone 12 models contain more magnets than previous iPhone models, Larger for magnetic interference to medical devices compared to previous iPhone models.Since the study, Apple has updated the document and included information on how to avoid interference with pacemakers and defibrillators.

"Medical devices such as defibrillators and implanted pacemakers may contain sensors that respond to magnets and radios when in close contact. To avoid any possible interaction with these devices, keep the iPhone and MagSafe charger away from you, and be at least 15 inches apart or 30 inches apart. Charging, "Apple wrote.
The document referred to the new wireless chargers, noting that "the MagSafe charger and the MagSafe Duo Charger contain radios, magnets and electromagnetic fields, which may interfere with medical devices."
We also mentioned that anyone who uses medical devices and an iPhone 12 or MagSafe accessory should consult a doctor.
