health situation
in France compared to that of its European neighbors.
While the specter of a re-confinement dawns, a question arises: is the health situation better or worse than before the first two confinements?

The first two confinements took place from March 17 to May 11 for the first and from October 30 to December 15 for the second.
They each correspond to the two waves of the epidemic.
So far, the health authorities do not mention a “
third wave
”, but rather a “
high plateau
