A 38-year-old disabled woman was found dead on Tuesday in the garden of her house in Sénouillac, in the Tarn region.
The Albi public prosecutor's office opened an investigation after his companion found Sandra Vicente, deputy mayor, lifeless: her body showed traces of bites and her clothes were partly shredded while the victim's two dogs had bloody mouths .
The investigation entrusted to the gendarmes must in particular determine if it is the bites of the dogs, the rottweilers, which caused her death, or if she could have had a heart attack or a malaise, before being bitten by the animals in her chair rolling.
In the meantime, the rottweilers have been taken to a veterinarian, to avoid endangering other people.
Sandra Vicente's companion informed the deputy prosecutor of his intention to euthanize them today.
This drama tragically echoes the Pilarski affair.
In November 2019, the 29-year-old pregnant woman was found dead in the woods where she was walking her dog Curtis.
His companion had implicated the pack of dogs participating in a hunt with hounds.
Analysis of the bites and DNA had, a year later, shown that Curtis was solely responsible for the bites that led to the death of his mistress.
