It's time to say goodbye to "New Post":
Instagram may soon eliminate the possibility of sharing a post on your story, according to a screenshot shared by Matt Navarra, a social media consultant.
The goal: not to see the same content twice.
"We hear from our community that they want to see fewer posts in Stories. During this review, you will not be able to add a feed feed to your Stories," said a notice to users on a pilot.
This means that the only way you can see new posts is in your feed, if you follow the same person.
Facebook has been changing the settings of the platforms once in a while, with the recent emphasis being to bring us back to Torch - as it did in the design change on Facebook - and to prevent duplication of content that could upset users.
About two weeks ago, it was reported that the social network is examining the possibility of hiding the likes counter in posts - one of the characteristics most identified with it, and with social networks in general.
The source of the report is the identification of a blogger and app developer named Alessandro Palozi, who tweeted about the discovery on his Twitter account.
