If the observation is confirmed, this will be one of the few positive side effects of Covid.
According to the latest weekly bulletin from Public Health France (SPF), the flu epidemic has not yet broken out in France, although it usually starts there in late December or early January.
Surveillance, which was upset last year by the health crisis, was restarted normally in October for the winter season.
To date, it has not detected an active circulation of the viruses responsible for this respiratory infection, which is estimated to cause thousands of deaths each year.
