The successful electronic music band Daft Punk announced today (Monday) the end of its journey, after about 28 years of activity.
The French duo, whose two friends Guy-Manuel de Homem-Cristo and Thomas Bangleter used to perform with helmets on their heads on stage and in front of the media, have recorded four studio albums, two live albums and the soundtrack of the film "Tron: The Legacy" throughout their careers.
Daft Punk is considered one of the most important bands of the French house of the 90s.
Among their big hits can be found "Around the World", "One More Time," "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" and "Get Lucky" with Farrell Williams.
Their second album, "Discovery", was ranked 236th on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, and the magazine even named them 12th on the list of the greatest singles of all time.
