Galia Oz, the author's daughter of renowned author Amos Oz, yesterday published a new autobiographical book called "A thing disguised as love," in which she accuses her father of physical and verbal violence against her during her childhood years.

After Oz's wife and two other children rejected things yesterday, Amos Oz's second daughter returned today (Monday) and rejected the harsh allegations.

"The media requires interviews from me and my brother," wrote Prof. Fanya Oz-Salzberger.

"Some are matter-of-fact and polite, others are lip-smacking, and unfortunately there are also threats. I will not answer in the near future. My sister's claims against my father have been known to us for decades. We tried in vain to embrace, mediate and untangle the factual contradictions. I did not read her book. Thanks to the reinforcers. "

Amos Oz's youngest son and Galia and her brother Fanya wrote a Facebook post in which he insisted on not discrediting his sister Galia.

"My father was not an angel, just a human being. But he was the best person I got to know. I had a complex relationship with his public figure. I had criticisms of her. I actually suffered from her indirectly. In fact, behind closed doors he was the best person I got to know.

" In contrast, our middle sister, Galia, remembers that she experienced harsh and abusive parenting from our father.

I'm sure - that is, know - that there is a kernel of truth in her words.

Do not delete it.

But don't delete us either.

We too have a voice and our voice also comes from the depths of our souls.

It is not read from a message board and is not despicable and not intended to harm anyone.

If I were to allow you to erase my beloved sister's voice, in favor of my voice - it would be disgusting.

"There's a mystery in my life. I do not really know what killed my father slowly, over the last six or seven years: the cancer, or the nightmares and daily insomnia. The cancer, or the one my mother mourned, crying over and over again, that 'she had a baby girl' died." What happened to my parents I saw with my own eyes. What happened to Galia during that time, after she severed all contact with us - I do not know because she did not allow me to find out. I am convinced that it was very difficult for her, very painful. Galia is many things, but she Not deceitful, not a liar and not manipulative. Please do not say otherwise. In the same currency, please do not accuse my mother and sister of her face in some absurd conspiracy. My father is dead and he can not stand on the dock and claim his innocence, nor defend his loved ones. We are just Witnesses: As for the things our mother remembers differently from Galia, the things her face remembers differently from Galia, the things I remember differently from Galia - well, these are our memories from our personal, limited point of view (like everyone else's). And I will keep my explanations for the conflict between the versions.
