Musician Aviv Geffen broke last night (Monday) the long stagnation of the corona that fell on the world of culture, when he took the stage of the Zappa Club in Herzliya after almost a year and performed in front of dozens of excited people.
It was hard not to notice the smile of each and every one of them despite the mask that covered their faces.
After singing the wonderful "Fallen" from his second album, Geffen said how significant this show is for him: "I got up earlier this morning than usual and said to myself 'there is a regular show in Zappa today. Not a zoom but a regular show in front of people'. I am very happy because I waited a long time ".
Geffen also told the audience how Prime Minister Netanyahu contacted him one night, before they met and talked about starting the cultural world and transferring budgets for the bleeding industry.
"I was sitting at home with my wife and kids. It was late at night and I got a phone call at about 11pm. Bibi was on the line and he asked me if I wanted to meet him. At first I did not believe and thought they were working on me. By the way, an hour later Simon Cowell called me. "X Factor." At this point, Geffen dedicated his song "Song of Hope" to all employees of the cultural industry who received a very severe economic blow in the corona year.

Geffen has argued several times during the show that the show is a kind of miracle.
