Funeral in private and live streaming for Fausto Gresini, the motorcycling champion and owner of Gresini Racing who died last February 23, in Bologna, at the age of 60 after a long hospitalization with Covid-19.
Gresini Racing writes it on its Facebook profile.
"The last farewell will be held tomorrow in Imola in private form", it says.
"Unfortunately it will not be the ceremony with which we all would have liked to say goodbye to our beloved Fausto - it is emphasized - due to the current restrictions due to the pandemic. Like Gresini Racing and in agreement with the family, we have decided to broadcast the ceremony in live streaming for allow everyone to participate in this last greeting ".

And tomorrow morning, at 10, Imola - the city where he was born - will dedicate a minute of silence to Gresini.
"It will be our way of paying homage, each in the place where he is, avoiding gatherings, to a great champion and a great man - observes the mayor of the Romagna municipality Marco Panieri - who has brought the name of Imola to the world, always remaining deeply attached to his city. At the end of the minute of silence, introduced by the mayor, a memory of Fausto Gresini will be diffused through the piped music system in the historic center, followed by the roar of his motorcycles, as a greeting from his native town.
