ACUM CEO Iorek Ben-David is retiring after 21 years in the job.
Ben David (68) is a member of ACUM, served as chairman of the board of ACUM in the 1990s and in 2000 was elected CEO of the organization.
During his tenure, he worked for the establishment of ACUM's "Creative House" in the Tel Aviv port, established the Creative and Creative Works Foundation, promoted the status of veteran artists and promoted legislation headed by an amendment to the "Copyright Law".
Assaf Nahum (46) , Selected by the ACUM Board of Directors for the position from among hundreds of candidates.
Nahum previously served as CEO of a high-tech start-up company, and for the past five years as VP of customers and business development at ACUM.

ACUM is the largest and oldest legend in the country for copyright protection.
It was founded in 1936 with the aim of protecting the rights of the authors, collecting royalties for the use of the works and transferring them to the rights holders.
