Nearly two months late due to the Corona plague, the 78th Golden Globe Awards ceremony was held tonight (Sunday to Monday), awarding prizes to some of the most notable films and series of the past year.
The election is entrusted to members of the foreign press chamber in Hollywood, numbering 87 people, and they have already received criticism for receiving favors from the production of the series "Emily in Paris", which is nominated for two awards despite the deadly criticism it has received.
The ceremony, which was broadcast live on Yes (and will be rebroadcast with a translation on Monday evening), was hosted for the fourth time by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
Israeli Shira Haas is nominated for her role in "The Rebel" for the Golden Globe Award in the category of Best Actress in a Mini-Series, after already being nominated for the Emmy Award last September.
During the ceremony, actress Jane Fonda will be awarded the Cecil B. de Mille Cinematic Lifetime Achievement Award, while the Carol Burnett Lifetime Achievement Award will go to legendary producer Norman Lear, co-creator of "Everything Stays in the Family" and "The Jefferson Family. ".
