2021-03-03T21:07:33.732Z

Patrick Poivre d'Arvor chose the “Quotidien” show this Wednesday evening on TMC to respond to the rape complaint against him. Facts

This is the first time he has spoken in a media since the revelation by our newspaper of an investigation for "rapes" targeting him.

This Wednesday evening, in the program "Quotidien" on TMC, Patrick Poivre d'Arvor fiercely contested the accusations of the writer Florence Porcel who accuses him, in a complaint filed in February at the Nanterre prosecutor's office (Hauts-de- Seine), to have sexually abused her on two occasions in 2004 and 2009. "It's fake", proclaimed the ex-star of the 20 Hours of TF1, saying "oscillate between anger and compassion [for the complainant] ”for two weeks.

PPDA confirmed knowing Florence Porcel and having seen her in 2004 in the premises of TF1, after the latter, then a student, had written her letters.

But he denies having forced sex on her that day.

"I saw her maybe a quarter of an hour, twenty minutes [...] It went very well, it was very professional, very cordial [...] Nothing happened “, Developed the journalist, specifying to have felt at the time that he had“ troubled this young woman ”.

"

According to him, Florence Porcel had expressed a form of "passion" for him, "unrequited passion".

They would have seen each other "in total" five or six times in 17 years ", always at the request of the writer, for interviews or professional interviews.

"If there has been seduction or attempted seduction, it does not come from me"

The former news star, however, did not want to answer the question of whether he had sex with the young woman during these dates.

Notably in 2009, the year in which Florence Porcel accuses him of having imposed a fellatio on him in his offices.

"I will give the answer to the investigators", defended PPDA, saying to want to preserve its "private life".

"If there has been seduction or attempted seduction, it does not come from me," he added, denying outright any relationship of influence.

Likewise, PPDA rejected outright the testimonies of other women, who appeared on social networks or relayed by the press, questioning her behavior.

"Total and absolute inventions," he said, explaining that he did not want "his notoriety" and that he "never imposed relations on anyone".

The journalist announced that he had filed a complaint against Florence Porcel and several media for "slanderous denunciation" and "defamation".
