The signals emitted by stars, galaxies and black holes become music.

Thanks to NASA, which has published a compilation of sounds from the universe in three videos.

NASA researchers started from data collected by the US Space Agency's Chandra X-ray Observatory, and other space telescopes, such as Hubble and Spitzer, which works in the infrared, and then converted their observations into musical notes.

"Without modifying the original content of the data - explain the NASA researchers - it is possible to convert them into a new form that anyone can also hear, as well as see".

The first video is inspired by an X-ray image that represents a collection of colored dots.

They resemble stars in appearance, but in reality, experts explain, they are mostly galaxies and giant black holes that dwell in the center of galaxies.

The different colors correspond to musical tones of different intensity.

The second video is the 'song' of the Cat's Eye nebula, in the constellation of the Dragon at about 3,300 light years.

The third and final video is the sound of Messier 51, an astronomical object about 31 million light years, which includes two distinct galaxies in the constellation of Hunting Dogs.
