The victim's family hoped that his companion would recognize his "bad faith" during this confrontation.

New step in the investigation into the death of Elisa Pilarski.

According to BFMTV, a confrontation is organized this Monday afternoon between Christophe Ellul, the companion of the victim, and the family of the latter, at the judicial court of Soissons (Aisne).

The 29-year-old pregnant woman died in the forest of Retz in November 2019 from a "hemorrhage following several bites" from one or more dogs, while she was walking Curtis, her American Pitbull Terrier.

In this case, Christophe Ellul, companion of the victim and owner of the dog, was indicted on March 4 for "manslaughter for having by clumsiness, recklessness, inattention, negligence or breach of an obligation of prudence or security. ..] involuntarily caused the death (of his companion Editor's note) ”.

The death of the young woman results "from the aggression committed by several dogs of which he was the owner or guardian", specified the press release of the prosecution.

"Bad faith"

Elisa Pilarski's family think that Christophe Ellul, who arrived first at the scene of the drama, wanted to change the scene.

She hopes, with the confrontation, to be able to demonstrate her "bad faith".

Relatives of the victim base their theory on the fact that an SMS was found in the phone of Elisa Pilarski's spouse, in which he said, about Curtis, "I sting him", BFMTV report.

For them, this means that he was aware that the dog had bitten the mother-to-be.

Pilarski affair: "Curtis is innocent", assures Elisa's companion

For a long time, Christophe Ellul implicated the dogs of a hunting with hounds, which took place near the place where Elisa Pilarski died.

But DNA analyzes and an examination of the bites "tend to demonstrate the exclusive involvement of the dog Curtis in the bites which led to the death" of the young woman.

The investigation also established that the animal had been imported illegally into France and that it had been trained "with a bite", a technique prohibited in France.

The family of Elisa Pilarski having become a civil party, Christophe Ellul does not have the right to come into contact with them outside of this confrontation.
