Security researcher reveals an intriguing detail from the leak of Facebook's database: The company's CEO and founder is registered for a competing app • And this is their surprising reaction
Cyber security researcher Dave Walker
that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is among the half a billion users whose personal information was leaked to the network in 2019 - and has been roaming freely on the network in recent days.
"The irony is that Mark Zuckerberg was unfortunately also included in the leak," Walker tweeted.
In addition, the security researcher found that Zuckerberg's phone number was linked to the Signal account - an encrypted instant messaging app that recently rose to prominence due to a protest against competitor WhatsApp, which is owned by Facebook.
And that's not all, in response to Walker's discovery, Signal celebrated the revelation and tweeted "As WhatsApp's terms and conditions on May 15 are fast approaching, Mark Zuckerberg is setting an example."

Since then, the social network has postponed the date of approval of the terms to May 15.
