News reporter and commentator 13, Avishai Ben Haim, was reprimanded by the company and suspended from broadcasting from Wednesday (Wednesday) to the next day (Sunday).
This follows his response to Yair Netanyahu's tweet, in which the prime minister's son called channels 12 and 13 "propaganda channels" and "abomination channels."
Ben-Haim did not criticize Netanyahu for using these insults, and even praised him.
Yair Netanyahu wrote on Tuesday: "How come not even in the last 5 years even one Emil Zola on propaganda channels 13 and 12 who issued a statement 'I blame' ?!", and added in another tweet: "My mistake. Only one stood up and shouted in the abomination channels, "And this is Avishai Ben-Haim. And I think the whole right-wing camp should thank him and appreciate his courage."
Avishai Ben-Haim replied, but in his response did not object to the riots on Channel 13 where he works.
Ben-Haim wrote to him, among other things: "A. I wish I deserved this thanks. I did not do enough. B. You probably should not thank me, your father and the struggle for your father, is ours no less than yours."
Avishai Ben Haim and News 13 declined to comment.
