Toyota begins marketing the plug-in version of the Rav4.
The specs are quite impressive, when it comes to hybrid capability, but the price jumps significantly.

On the mechanical side you can find in the Brab 4 a 2.5-liter gasoline engine that produces 180 hp.
The power unit also incorporates an electric motor of course (182 hp) and these two together transfer the power to the front wheels.
There is an additional electric motor on the rear axle (54 hp) which produces dual propulsion here and a combined power of no less than 306 hp.
The price comes in the form of a narrower trunk and a significantly higher weight.
On the billing side, you can specify an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h that lasts only 6 seconds.
The driving range on pure electricity is also impressive and stands at 75 km (up to 135 km / h).
The stated total travel range on a full tank is over 1,000 km.
You can also mention here a higher level of equipment that includes, among other things, a larger multimedia screen, 19-inch rims, electrically adjustable leather seats and more.

The Toyota Rav 4 in this version offers very impressive performance on paper, improved electrical capability, and the level of instrumentation in which it is marketed here is quite high.
Despite all this, he is asking, perhaps rightly, for a fairly high price, NIS 255,000.
The improvement over the basic version is quite clear, but it is not certain that the addition of tens of thousands of shekels for this capability makes it relevant.
