From May 28th, orders for the Mustang Mach-E GT and GT Performance Edition will start.
Prices for the new Mustang Mach-E GT start at $ 59,900 (approximately € 49,650), while the Mach-E GT Performance Edition is priced at $ 64,900 (€ 53,800).
The new Ford Mustang Mach-E GT represents the top of the range of the fastest and most powerful variant of the electric SUV and features the Unbridled Extend driving mode, with settings for traction and stability control more performance-oriented. The car will also be available with the new highway driving system, BlueCruise.
Visually, the new Mustang Mach-E can be distinguished from its younger siblings thanks to the charred gray grille with illuminated pony badge, black rearview mirror caps, a set of 20-inch alloy wheels with 245/45 all-season tires and red brake calipers with larger rotors.
The electric powertrain of the new Ford Mustang Mach-E GT consists of a pair of electric motors with a combined output of 480 hp and an 88 kWh battery pack. The Performance Edition also offers 480 hp but adds a little more torque, up to 860 Nm.
As for the driving range, it is about 400 km for the GT and 370 km for the GT Performance.
The interior of the new Ford Mustang Mach-E GT features sports seats in Black Onyx ActiveX material with Miko inserts, copper metal stitching and copper metal piping, as well as a B&O sound system with nine speakers and a subwoofer.
The Performance Edition adds even tighter seats to the body from Ford Performance in gray.
One of the optional features will be Ford's new BlueCruise hands-free driver assistance system, which comes as part of the Co-Pilot 360 Active 2.0 package. First deliveries of the new Ford Mustang Mach-E GT and Mach-E GT Performance Edition will begin in early autumn.
